Crispy tofu in brown sauce is a delicious, healthy vegan dish that’s easy to make and full of flavor. The tofu is coated in cornstarch and pan-fried until crispy, then tossed with broccoli in a savory brown sauce of coconut milk and Korean BBQ sauce.
Serve it over steamed jasmine rice for a satisfying weeknight dinner.
Cut the tofu into triangles and season with the liquid aminos. Press the pieces into the cornstarch, shaking off any excess.
Heat the grapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Cook the tofu 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the broccoli and cook until crisp-tender.
Return the tofu to the pan. Add the coconut milk and Korean BBQ sauce and toss to coat.
Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
